Professional Experience

Jerry Lee Hanbery is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group in the firm's Orlando office. His practice is dedicated to the handling of complex commercial real estate matters. He previously served as Vice President and General Counsel in the Florida operations of a of a New York based multinational private equity firm, where he managed all acquisitions in the state of Florida, handled construction disputes, and managed outside counsel on construction litigation. He also is a licensed real estate broker. Mr. Hanbery has handled matters for several start up and venture capitalist projects involving real estate acquisition and compliance for a variety of issues.

Activities and Memberships

Mr. Hanbery is very active in the Central Florida Community. He is the current President of Ducks Unlimited Central Florida Chapter. He also is on the Board of Directors for Citrus Council for Girls Scouts of America, a former Board Member of the Orange County Bar Association YLD, a former Board Member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, CCIM State of Florida Board member and Sponsorship Chair, and a Board Member for the Greater Orlando Builders Association. He is also a Florida Mediator and Arbitrator.
